A Church for Children
We feel blessed to be a church home for a large number of children and their families. Child care and a variety of activities are available every Sunday starting with the free 9am family breakfast, 9:30 Sunday School, 10:45 worship (long-time staffed nursery provided and addition child activities outside the sanctuary plus rocking chairs in the sanctuary where children are always welcome), snacks served after worship, and occasionally a dance or choir practice with lunch provided!
During Sunday School children have a variety of activities to suit their interests – crafts and physical activities, learning bible stories, and more!
Christ Church's children ministries don't stop on Sunday. We have monthly Kids@Christ on the fourth Saturday of each month before our free community dinner. At Easter we have Spring Fling – a great day ending with a huge Easter Egg hunt. During the Summer we have a week-long Vacation Bible School from 6pm to 8pm for all ages Pre-K to Middle School involving Dance, Stories, Crafts, Physical Games, Science Experiments, and dinner and snacks. Each Christmas Eve we have a Children's Pageant.
